======================================================================== ELAD FDM-S3 - ExtIO DLLs for WinRad-compatible SDR software ======================================================================== WHAT'S INSIDE ------------- Two folders: - x86 -> for 32-bit SDR software - x64 -> for 64-bit SDR software EACH folder contains: - ELAD_basic_USB_FX3.dll (USB support library, REQUIRED) - 7 files ExtIO_ELAD_FDMS3_*.dll, one per sample rate: 192k - 384k - 1536k - 3072k - 6144k - 12288k - 24576k WHICH FOLDER TO USE ------------------- Choose x86 or x64 to MATCH YOUR SDR SOFTWARE, not Windows: - 32-bit program -> x86 folder - 64-bit program -> x64 folder If the bitness is wrong, the DLL will not load. INSTALLATION ------------ 1) Open the correct folder (x86 or x64). 2) Pick ONE "ExtIO_ELAD_FDMS3_..." DLL (the sample rate you want). 3) Copy that DLL TOGETHER WITH "ELAD_basic_USB_FX3.dll" (from the SAME folder) into your SDR program's folder (usually where its .exe is). --> Both files are required, and must come from the same folder. 4) Start the SDR program and select the ELAD ExtIO input. Note: you may also copy more than one ExtIO DLL; in that case some programs will let you choose which one at startup. CHOOSING THE SAMPLE RATE ------------------------ Each DLL is a fixed sample rate (= width of spectrum shown): a higher number means a wider spectrum. REQUIREMENTS ------------ - FDM-S3 connected via USB with its driver already installed (the same one used by the ELAD software). ========================================================================
