4-channel radio receiver module with an on-board FPGA + ARM system-on-module, working as a slave of the crate controller and offering the same interfaces. It receives the signals over the radio link at a sample rate of 61.44, 122.88 or 250 MHz and can process them on board: run logic and communicate over Ethernet, or extract features from the RF signals in real time and pass them over the bus to the controller, synchronised with the other modules.
