Browsing data

As with any website, the systems that run this site record some technical data: IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, browser and device type. This data is used only to operate the site, keep it secure and detect abuse; we do not use it to identify visitors.

Data you send us through the forms

The site has three forms: contact, quotation request from the wishlist and distributor application. Depending on the form, we collect your name, company, role, email, phone, country, the text of your message and, for quotation requests, the list of products saved in the wishlist with their quantities. Fields marked with * are required for us to reply; the others are optional. Please do not include in your message any data that is not needed for your request.

• Replying to requests for information, quotations and support, and managing any business relationship that follows: pre-contractual and contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Assessing distributor applications: pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Complying with legal obligations, for example accounting and tax obligations if a request becomes an order (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
• Protecting the website and, where necessary, defending our rights: legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not use form data for newsletters or promotional communications, and we do not pass it on to third parties for commercial purposes.

Data is processed electronically by authorized staff with appropriate security measures. Requests sent through the forms are kept for as long as needed to handle them and in any case no longer than 24 months after the last contact; if a request leads to a contract, the necessary data is kept for the duration of the relationship and for the following 10 years required by Italian civil and tax law. Browsing data is kept only for as long as strictly necessary for the security of the site.

• Authorized ELAD staff handling your request (sales, technical support, administration).
• Providers that host the website and manage email on our behalf, appointed as data processors.
• If your request concerns products sold through a distributor, the relevant distributor, solely to reply to you.
• Public authorities, where required by law.

Your data is not published. No transfer outside the European Economic Area is planned; should a provider process data outside the EU, the transfer will take place only with the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

The site uses only technical tools that are necessary for it to work and do not require consent:

• a technical cookie that remembers the language you chose (Italian or English);
• the browser’s local storage (localStorage), which holds the products you save in the wishlist: they stay on your device and reach us only if you send the quotation request;
• the browser’s session storage (sessionStorage), used to show the loading animation only on the first page of a visit.

We do not use profiling, analytics or third-party cookies. Fonts and videos are hosted on our own server, with no requests to external services. You can delete cookies and stored data at any time in your browser settings.

The online shop, the support portal and the social networks linked from this site are external services with their own privacy notices.

You may at any time request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15–22 GDPR) by writing to eladit@eladit.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it).
