Description

GENE2 is a compact, cost-effective RF generator designed to cover an extremely wide frequency range, from 52 MHz up to 6 GHz, with two separate outputs: High Power (150–450 MHz) and Low Power (52 MHz–6 GHz). The device generates CW signals either in single mode or in a programmable sequence, with up to 256 RF steps configurable in frequency, level and transmission times. USB-powered, it is easy to use both in the laboratory and in the field, thanks to its dedicated software interface and its current, reverse power and SWR protection systems. These features make it a versatile instrument for RF testing, measurement and development.

Applications

  • Testing and characterization of RF front ends
  • Validation of receivers and radio modules
  • RF sensitivity and selectivity measurements
  • Electromagnetic compatibility and local interference testing
  • RF electronics production and testing
  • Telecommunications research and development
  • RF sequences for automated testing
  • Radio training and education
